The IAEA Language Programme at the VIC
Our Autumn semester courses 2025 are now available for online registration! Registrations can be done until course start in our office as well as online or via email!
This semester inlingua is offering various levels
of German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic and Russian. Courses are open to everyone who normally has access to the VIC.
We will be offering a mix of face- to-face and online courses. Online courses will be offered using our platform my.inlingua. Full details about platform access will be provided before course begin.

Placement Tests
Online placement tests are available here for German, English, Spanish, French and Italian.
Arabic, Chinese, Japanese and Russian placement tests can be arranged on appointment by contacting inlingua at iaea@inlingua.at.
All placement tests are free of charge.
GERMAN LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY Exam – B1 Zertifikat
inlingua offers two separate German exams. One examination will be at B1 level for those who require a certificate for the Magistrat MA 35 – Immigration and Citizenship: https://www.wien.gv.at/english/administration/civilstatus
The other B1 examination will be for those who only require the certificate for the IAEA language allowance. Both exams will be offered twice a year. The IAEA language allowance exam can also be taken on an individual basis with inlingua. The exams consist of two parts; a written part and an oral interview. Each part to be taken separately.
