Connecting to your inlingua Virtual Classroom – two easy methods

Here you can find out how to connect successfully to your virtual classroom.

These instructions are divided into two parts.

Firstly, for those connecting to their virtual classroom using a company computer/notebook.

Secondly, for those connecting via a personal computer/notebook/tablet or smartphone.

1. Via a company computer:

Your company computer or laptop will probably not allow you to install external programmes. Therefore, you can only enter the virtual classroom by using your browser.

  • Connect to your account in inlinguawien.scoolest.com using the web browser “Google Chrome”. On your dashboard you should see your next class (Please be aware that the class is only activated 40 minutes before the class starts) As soon as you click on the start symbol a pop-up window opens. In this one you select the left button “Join the meeting via Web”. Your Virtual Classroom session will then start. If you get the message “Meeting is not started” please wait until the trainer has started the session, then you can enter the meeting.
  • 40 minutes before the class starts you will receive an e-mail with the link to your next Virtual Classroom session. BEWARE: an old link won’t work. Copy this link and paste it in your web browser “Google Chrome”. Click on “Launch meeting” and then “Join from your browser”. Type in your name, select “I’m not a robot” and click “join”. 2. Via a personal computer:

Firstly, install zoom on your computer. You can use this link. For this to work you need to have an active zoom account. You can register for free here. If you don’t want to install the zoom client, please see the instructions “using a company computer”

  • Connect to your account in inlinguawien.scoolest.com using the web browser “GoogleChrome”. On your dashboard you should see your next class (Please be aware that the class is only activated 40 minutes before the class starts) As soon as you click on the start symbol a pop-up window opens. In this window select the right-hand button. The Virtual Classroom session will the start automatically.
  • 40 minutes before the class starts you will receive an e-mail with the link to your next Virtual Classroom session. BEWARE: an old link won’t work. Copy this link and paste it in your web browser “Google Chrome”. Click on “Launch meeting” and then “Join from the zoom client”.
