
Erasmus+ funding: Teacher training in Vienna
inlingua Vienna offers specialised training programmes for German teachers in the field of German as a foreign and second language. The programme combines methodology, didactics, cultural studies and contemporary teaching approaches within an international learning environment in Vienna.
The teacher training is aimed at educators, language teachers and education experts who wish to specifically develop their methodological, didactic and intercultural skills. The focus is on practical lesson planning, international professional exchange and the direct application of these skills to participants’ own teaching practice.
inlingua is an experienced Erasmus+ course provider and adheres to the Erasmus+ quality standards for mobility projects (Key Action 1). Participants from EU Member States as well as from Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Turkey, North Macedonia and Serbia can apply for funding through Erasmus+. Applications are submitted by the sending institution or the consortium coordinator.

Course overview
Teacher training (20 teaching units)
A specialised training programme for non-native German teachers with teaching experience who wish to specifically develop their methodological, didactic and cultural skills.
- 15 lessons of 45 minutes’ German language tuition per week
- 5 lessons of 45 minutes’ applied cultural studies and teaching methodology
- Duration: 1 week
- Level: B2 and above
- International groups
- Max. 7 participants

20 teaching units – EUR 420.00
Group size: 3–7 participants
For groups with fewer participants, the following conditions apply:
1 participant: 10 teaching units
2 participants: 15 teaching units
We are also happy to organize customized professional development programs for individual students or closed groups of German teachers as part of the Erasmus+ program.
