Learn German – Group courses
Whether you are a complete beginner, want to perfect your conversational German, or need to learn business German as fast as possible, inlingua will help you reach your goal.
inlingua also offers language courses for recognition by the ÖIF, the Austrian Integration Fund. Our courses and exam preparation classes are oriented to the needs of immigrants in order to foster their success in education, at work, and in their career through specialized and up-to-date course formats such as online learning and virtual classroom.
Intensive courses – every day
The intensive German course compromises 14 training units of German in just one week. These weekly modules can be combined like building blocks to fit any schedule or learning needs. Classes run from Monday to Friday morning. The classroom sessions last 3 lesson periods each ( 2 on Fridays). In addition, there are written drills and online learning modules to reinforce at home what was learned with the group.
Admission is limited to 8 learners per group. This guarantees active mastery of the language as opposed to passive familiarity. Working in a group this size is a highly efficient way to acquire the oral skills so vital to life in a foreign country.
The first 3 lessons each day are spent under the supervision of a native instructor. By challenging the students with real-life situations and carefully structured questions, the teacher keeps the class thinking in German from the very first lesson. As this part of the course aims at a natural and spontaneous command of the spoken language, the emphasis is on intensive verbal practice. Active participation is required, as students ask each other questions and act out basic dialogues.
Boost – twice a week
For those of you who are fortunate enough to spend some time living and/or working in Austria, inlingua offers longer-term courses (“Boost”), as well.
Whether you want to start from scratch or just need to polish up your grammar, inlingua’s classes will help you reach your goal as quickly and effectively as possible, while you go about your daily life.
These courses meet twice a week in the afternoon or evening and usually last two to four months. As with all inlingua courses, they are taught in small homogeneous groups exclusively in German. This has the added advantage of saving your time. Time better spent speaking German than translating.
Shape-up – once a week
Once a week in the morning or afternoon – ideal for students who want to improve their German language skills in a very structured and dynamic program
This course is for people who are entering a competitive workforce where German is needed for success. These lessons are for intermediate to advanced level students.
